Question - Soul Scheme...

i, originally, was going to upload this back in mid-november but my laptop hard drive died... along with over a dozen notes of future blog entries... this is one of the them. i cannot remember what i wrote up, because honestly i can barely remember last week and during that period, i was on a roll.. the music speaks for itself. nothing beats soul music. you cannot go wrong with vintage soul especially when the person is mixing, it does it flawlessly... you may know him from back in the day under a different name... or even, as of recently, from his production and collaborative project, Study Guide, with the soulmeister, Freddie Joachim. his first solo album, Standard Translation will be out later this year. just go and DL this right now... click the pic.

My Life As Liz...

who!?!? pistachio joooones! that's what's up...

i wish it would rain...

... and it is. i've always had a deep affinity towards the rain, particularly the aroma of the air in the brink of downfall. a simple whiff of it calms the nerves and gives me this solitary refreshing feeling that comes with the foresight and wishful thinking of the rain washing away the absurdities of this funny world. i love the rain... just not when i'm in it... i will probably regurgitate these very words every now and then, regardless of the fact, that's the way i feel... and you will read it again!



hmmm... first real post of the year.

my condolences and prayers to family of chelsea king. may her young soul rest in peace. life is way too precious.
